A leading distributor in the meat industry based in New York City is looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist to join their growing technology team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, highly enthusiastic, and self-sufficient. The position will monitor and optimize the company’s ERP system and oversee the product process lifecycle.


  • Understand and learn how to troubleshoot the ERP and Scaling & Scanning Systems as needed

  • Ensure accuracy in reporting data collection processes and synthesize data to be useful to the team

  • Ensure technical operational processes are optimized and are being followed

  • Escalate requests that require engineer level support to partner MSSP

  • Learn new technologies and engage in training and certification programs

  • Take on side projects as needed for business improvement

  • Provide training and support to employees on both new app implementations and improved methods

  • Document and report issues to create tickets for MSSP Partner

  • Qualifications:

  • A minimum 3 years of experience supporting an ERP system and/or migration to a new ERP system

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills

  • Recent experience in troubleshooting different technologies

  • Able to be available for work at early morning shift EST

  • Excellent analytical and process optimization skills

  • Great attention to detail while handling various issues

  • Able to articulate technical info to non-technical people in a simple and clear way
