Data Engineer


Parker and Lynch is looking for a full-time Data Engineer with 4 plus years of experience in the Atlanta, GA area.  You will enhance client brands to leverage API data migrations and data integrations while ensuring security and reliability.



  • Working closely with clients to acquire an enhanced understanding of their data platforms.
  • Designing, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing database architecture to ensure data pipeline needs in a Microsoft Azure environment.
  • Working with API Developers to build data in microservices.
  • Using Power BI to create dashboards from SQL Server.
  • Extracting data from various source systems to load into our client data warehouse.


    Highly proficient in

  • Data platforms (Treasure Data, DataBricks, Cloudera, AtScale).
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Modern data and BI platforms (such as Data Bricks, SQL Data Warehouse (Synapse), PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Azure blob storage.
  • ETL Tools (Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Informatica PowerCenter, Xplenty, Talend, Stitch, Oracle Data Integrator, Skyvia, Fivetran)
  • Several programing languages (Python, Java, Scala, JavaScript) to develop in microservices using REST APIs.
  • Utilizing version control tools (Git or Git Hub) in a CI/CD management.
  • Automation tools (Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes).
  • Technical documentation.
  • Familiar with unit testing, TDD or other similar methods.


  • Ability to work cohesively with teams.
  • Well-equipped to communicate on technical and non-technical levels.
  • Expert problem solver with strong analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail to prioritize and organize adequately.
  • Continuous learner.
