Data Scientist

The world's leading creator of disc brake technology for auto vehicles is looking to hire a Data Scientist to manage and implement artificial intelligence methodologies and statistical analysis. The role involves the application of data acquired from processes and products while working with other external and internal functions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support to multiple specialists by performing numerous real data application analysis to define the objective of various company functions.

  • Predict, improve and identify correlations by means of inferential and descriptive statistics application.

  • Create valid forecasts models based on the predefined techniques and communicate the outcome effectively.

  • Work with Software Developers and Data Engineers on typical tasks using Agile methodology including Design of Experiments, Descriptive Statistics and Exploratory Data Analysis, Casual and Statistical Inference, Predictive Analysis and Sentiment Analysis.

  • Use the most suitable approaches of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Statistical Learning and apply to Big Data.

  • REQUIREMENTS:

  • Software development experience

  • Knowledge with multi-patterned programming languages (Python and R)

  • SQL query and data visualization experience

  • Experience with R (tidyverse package collection) and python scientific libraries (numpy, matplotilib, pandas and scikit)

  • Experience with Big Data processing

  • Experience with Data Visualization and BI tools (TIBCO Spotfire highly preferred)

  • Familiarity with Hadoop platforms like Cloudera

  • Familiarity with the DevOps processes and paradigm

  • Knowledge of agile development organization

  • Proficiency with the use and implementation of M.L. and A.I. algorithms

  • Knowledge of the most recent developments in the field

  •
