What we are looking for:

  • 3 or more years experience as a Data Scientist
  • Self-sufficient
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM from an accredited institution
  • ability to use machine learning data and predictive modeling and machine learning to provide solutions to business problems
  • Experience with programming languages like SQL, Python, and/or R
  • Proven knowledge of  segmentation, PCA, linear regression, logistic regression, correlation, forecasting, decision trees, random forest, KNN, K-means, etc.
  • Experience running multiple models with the ability to clearly explain the limitations and applications for each
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, DOMO, and Tableau,
  • Strong oral and verbal communication
  • Ability to present data and provide recommendations based on data
  • Able to work in a fast- paced environment
  • Experience with big data
  • Able to manipulate a lot of data
  • Microsoft excel
  • Team player
  • Pricing experience is preferred
  • Retail or e-commerce experience is preferred
  • Interpret business requests  and give important outputs
  •  

    What you’ll be doing:

     

  • Communicate to the existing data scientist
  • Use of Domo as BI tool
  • Enhance warehouse(Snowflake)
  • Experience- As long as this person can think through problems and have the tools to solve them
  • Focus more on the business and operations side working with the team between inventory and operation problems
  • Expand profit and margin through marketing strategies, optimizing pricing, and, inventory management
  • Collaborate with team to create recommended platforms to implement markdown strategies, pricing, and inventory
  • Provide recommendations from data that will contribute to growth
  • Use of statistical platforms like Segment, Hubspot, Google Analytics, Snowflake, and Domo
  • Manage dashboards for users and encourage self-service
  • Responsibility of certification and data quality
  • Continuous A/B and multivariate testing across product lifecycle
  • Evolve overall company analytics capabilities
