One of the largest community-based organizations is looking for an IT Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate should have excellent technical skills and overall knowledge of technological advances in networking, telecommunications, desktop applications, and programming.

 

This position will report to the CFO and will be responsible for the company’s entire IT infrastructure and data management requirements.

 

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 5 IT professionals to support the company's IT function.
  • Evaluate and update IT Infrastructure and Systems Roadmap and ensure the roadmap meets the needs of the agency and programs.
  • Serve as the functional and technical leader for the implementation and support of software apps, changes to systems which include: I2I, Nextgen, Microsoft 365, and Blackbaud.
  • Evaluate the company’s security risks, adopt measures to protect data, and provide a secure environment by using a combination of internal and external resources.
  • Develop and execute IT procedures and policies that comply with state and national certifications and requirements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with software apps, telecommunication channels, and network infrastructure.
  • Identify optimal structure of staffing to ensure optimal design and network infrastructure function, steady communication channels, and EHR support.
  • Ensure updating and testing of backup and recovery strategy and plans is up-to-date.
  • Audit systems and compliance to HIPAA policies and assume the role of HIPAA Compliance Officer.

    Job requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years experience in IT, with 8 years in a management position/role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems related field
  • 8 years proven experience with staff management and demonstrated strategic planning, implementation, and policy development(Preferably in the healthcare industry)
  • 5 years experience with clinical applications support such as Nextgen or similar system
  • Data management, data security, and HIPAA governance expertise
  • Previous experience with template development and script writing within SQL database
