Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration.
  • Core Competences

  • Proven customer service experience
  • Ability to handle heavy workloads with limited supervision.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability in high stress environment with limited information is required
  • Must be available to be on-call occasional nights, holidays and weekends

  • Responsibilities

  • Windows administration - Assist with various Windows tasks including AD maintenance, Group Policy Object development and deployment, and troubleshooting of issues
  • Provide technical support across the company (this may be in person or remotely)
  • Office 365 administration & configuration
  • Monitor reports concerning patch requirements, bugs and software vulnerabilities received from the system vulnerability servers
  • Server Patch management
  • SMTP Server management & configuration
  • Experience with Patch management tools (Solarwinds or similar).
  • Commitment to documenting knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
  • DNS management and configuration
  • Monitor and maintain existing multi-host virtual environments(Hyper-V and VMware)
