Parker + Lynch Technology is seeking an IT Systems Administrator responsible for resolving and deploying enterprise networking and storage issues in new and existing networks. This role will serve as an integral part of a fast-paced department and requires an IT Systems Administrator that has working knowledge of design, implementation, security and virtual host-based systems that are on premise or in the cloud.

Position breakdown:

  • Sever as the Tier-3 escalation point for varying networking and infrastructure issues.  
  • Resolve and deploy enterprise networking and storage issues in new and existing networks.         
  • Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications. Provides solutions and documentation that help achieve operational excellence within the infrastructure.
  • Monitoring the system to verify the availability as well as the integrity of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes performed daily.        
  • Perform ADHOC performance reporting to support capacity planning     
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory and disk partitions as required.    
  • Strives for uniform and complete technical accuracy and security within the datacenter, including monitoring equipment.       
  • Required Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree with a technical major

    5+ years of experience with the following:

  • Experience in a Systems administrator role
  • Experience with Windows Server administration
  • Experience with server, storage,networking, backups,firewall, VPN, virtualized environments
  • Nice to have experience:

  • Experience with CRM like Nimble
  • Experience with Linux
  • Non-profit experience
