Parker & Lynch Technology is working with a legal administration to find a seasoned Lead Data Analyst with 6+ years of data analyst and 3+ years of project team lead experience for a Full-Time position that reports directly to the Chief Information Officer with a promotion opportunity into a Director role within 18 months.

 

The Lead Data Analyst leads a team of Data Analysts that owns the delivery of complex projects in support of the Operations Team while also having a hands-on approach to understand and coordinate the workflow prioritization of critical tasks for clients. Job Responsibilities and Summary

  • Interact closely with the operations organization to understand business goals and requirements.
  • Manage expectations of the Data Team and report to Senior Management.
  • Ability to evaluate the scope of a project, understand the data sources and delivery requirements.
  • Deliver process models and data models for target solutions.
  • Manage Schedules and timing of Data Team Personnel.
  • Make decisions impacting both Operations and IT.
  • Adapt easily to new software and new circumstances and Changing Infrastructure.
  • Capable of working with limited direction to deliver solutions to complex issues.
  •  Be able to evaluate data from disparate sources and understand how to absorb data into internal systems.
  • Receive data from third parties, analyze data, report on issues, prep and load data into a database.
  • Evaluate data to determine data quality or duplicate data issues.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting to operations upon request.
  • Produce data files for mail or email noticing.
  • Work with operations to define benefit calculations.  Code and unit test calculation scripts
  • Work with the team to determine efficiencies and automation that will make us better able to support operations.
  • Work Independently with a minimum of input to determine the best outcome for the project.

    Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’ degree in CS, MIS, Math, Statistics or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6 plus years working as a data analyst or similar experience.
  • 3 plus years working as Project or Team lead
  • Legal or insurance experience a plus.
  • Experience working with MS SQL writing complex queries
  • Ability to model complex data structures
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain complex data concepts
  • Understanding of data structures and data modeling
  • Understanding of Application programming and techniques.
