Network Engineer in Mesa, AZ


Parker+Lynch is currently conducting a direct hire search for a Network Engineer in Mesa, AZ. Our client is seeking an experienced administrator to join their stable, growing company!


Responsibilities for Network Engineer Job:

  • Identify and resolve hardware and software problems
  • Design, analyze and implement LAN/WAN equipment and design cost effective system configuration that meet the users' needs
  • Performs customization and system administration for network management, task/project management, help desk, work group integration, documentation, and educational software packages on local and wide area networks
  • Configuration, operation, and administration of network server hardware, operating systems, and communications links
  • Defines and implements solutions to integrate desktop and shared devices into local and wide area networks and/or other host-based networks
  • Implements and maintains bridges, routers, gateways, remote access servers, domain servers, security firewalls, application and device servers and Internet or Intranet devices and connections
  • Performs mobile troubleshooting and installations


    Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in both Windows systems and Cisco Networking
  • 5+ years of network/systems administration experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred
  • This position will be 50% systems administration, 50% network administration
  • Cisco experience: prepping routers, configuring VPN, configuring networks
  • Exceptional communication skills with a mentoring attitude for the younger team members
  • CCNA or other Cisco certification would be a plus
