Parker + Lynch Technology is seeking a Programmer/Analyst that will be responsible for all in-house software development projects. This role will serve as an integral part of a fast-paced department and requires the analysis, coding, testing, design, implementation, training and troubleshooting of in-house software. This position also promises to foster an environment committed to the power of Employee Ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Developing written project plans in collaboration with Business Analyst, as needed, to determine project requirements via Analysis- Meetings.
  • Documenting the restrictions and conditions for the system using tools just as flowcharts in addition to working with both users and other programmer/analysts to validate the designs.
  •  Utilizing code to create the screens, reports, tables, field and processes that will provide solutions to business needs while adhering to standards procedures.
  •  Performing unit and system testing prior to installation. As well as playing an essential role in both the design and code walkthroughs.
  • Responsible for all aspects of communication surrounding implementations including creating and executing an implementation plan for data conversion and user training.
  • Required Experience:

  • BS or BA preferred, in a computer related field.
  • 2+ years of programming or related programing experience
  • Experience with the following:
  • MS SQL including SSIS and SSRS
  • HTML, CSS Progress and Postgress MySQL databases
  • Demonstrated history of experience and understanding in ITIL and Change Management processes.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 product suite, with a concentration on SharePoint 365
