Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with other team members to plan, design, develop, test and maintain Microsoft web and desktop-based business applications. You will collaborate with other software developers, software architects, and business analysts.
  • Collecting and documenting user requirements and using this knowledge to estimate user stories.
  • Putting together reports, manuals, and other required documentation that will be used to for the upkeeping of programming.
  • Collaborating with team to migrate older applications to the current Microsoft technologies. Once migrated, you will work with team to refine and tune integrations between applications.
  • Develop unit testing for applications in accordance with Company standards.
  • Partake in peer-reviews of solution design and related code.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to fix technical and application issues.
  • Assess new opportunities and present them to team in order to establish a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Deliver quality work on budget and in a timely manner.
  • Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc)
  • Skills:  

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft.NET development using C#
  • Extensive front-end skills including ASP.NET, MVC3, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS
  • Experience with user interface design and prototyping.
  • Experience building AMP pages.
  • Familiarity with automated testing
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies included but not limited to Scrum
  • Can communicate effectively to establish cooperative working relationships.
  • Ability to course correct continuously as new information becomes available.
