Responsibilities and Expectations

 

  • Deliver Analytics Solutions. Proven experience in delivering complex analytics initiatives, with a lead role in technical design, development and implementation.
  • Consistent demonstrated success in data-driven change management including analyzing information, determining the “story” that the data tells, developing insights, and implementing change.
  • Advanced knowledge of Business Intelligence and Analytics domains - Predictive analytics, Prescriptive models, text analytics, statistics, machine learning, data management, data architecture, data governance, etc.
  • Experience using supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques such as regression, random forest, xgboost, clustering and/or causal inference techniques such as hierarchical modeling, fixed effect/random effect models, propensity score matching, etc
  • Experience and subject matter expertise in Healthcare vertical in United States - these include Value-based care, Improving Patient Outcomes, Nephrology, Kidney disease management, Population Health management, performance measure development (CMS / MIPS MACRA reporting), Qualified Clinical Data Registry, Healthcare administration, clinical care, health outcomes, social determinants of health, financial modeling/analysis, claims and revenue cycle management.
  • Demonstrates professional standards related to data access, data security, HIPAA, data sensitivity, and data confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of project management and agile delivery
  • Knowledge of Python, Jypter, SQL, ETL, Data Visualization and other related technical competencies.
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex methodologies and analytical results to higher-level business insights and key takeaways
  • Ability to make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Qualifications

    · Minimum - Master’s or PhD Degree in Healthcare Information Systems, Clinical Informatics, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Business Management, Data Science or related field.

  • Experience in using mathematics, statistics, modeling, experimental study design, business analysis, and technology to transform high volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions
  • Strong time management, project management skills
  • · Must be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload

    · Must be a self-starter and work independently with minimal supervision.

    · Proven track record of solving problems, creating solutions and driving change within a team

    Additional Qualifications

  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant data analysis or analytics experience in healthcare (provider or payor)
  • 5+ years of Project work experience and SDLC, including agile methods
