Parker and Lynch is working with a local client that is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join their team. They’ve recently expanded their software offerings onto new platforms and are growing tremendously! As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on the team that is building out a client-facing web application, that will be scalable. This will be a remote role and only require a day or two a quarter once the office "returns" after Covid. 


  • Monitoring engineering work on a sprint team member across Engineering, Product, and Design teams
  • Contributing to the engineering platform, focusing mainly in backend web application development
  • Collaborate with Engineering leadership to assess upcoming work
  • Conduct code reviews of other Engineers to ensure adherence to task objectives
  • Managing the software development lifecycle through deployment and production monitoring
  • Triaging bugs and coordinating efforts to resolve them among available resources
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science or similar
  • You have 5-10 years’ experience developing in Java
  • 3+ years experience working with AWS
  • Experience working with Hibernate
  • 3+ years experience using Spring or Spring Boot
  • 2+ years experience in production deployment or release engineering
  • Experience working with relational database architecture and design patterns.
  • Strong experience of full-stack web application architecture, including API integration, authentication and authorization, caching strategies, and high availability

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with front-end architecture and design patterns and are able to roll your sleeves up and code if needed: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React or Vue.JS
  • Linux CLI and filesystem, Tomcat or springboot configuration experience
