An iconic restaurant group is looking to employ a talented System Analyst to maintain, monitor and configure a reliable Point of Sale and operation systems for the company. The role involves maintenance of inventory and membership databases. The System Analyst will provide daily POS operations support to guarantee up-to-date features and proper performance to improve store performance.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide quality technical assistance for incoming issues and queries related to software and computer systems.
  • Maintain and update detailed internal and external inventory management and IT documentation.
  • Seek out and eliminate repetitive tasks to directly impact the efficiency of the team and company.
  • Designs solutions by evaluating and preparing alternative system solutions.
  • Collaborate with the management team to understand the operational and business needs as well as set up the POS system to meet the requirements.
  • Maintain inventory and POS membership databases.
  • Prepare membership, financial reports and inventory.
  • Coordinate with staff and equipment to reconcile on-hand counts and quarterly inventory.
  • Stay up-to-date with the present technology as well as suggest changes to achieve company objectives.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and work with third-party technicians and POS vendors on issues requiring assistance.
  • Collaborate with the appropriate staff to guarantee sound understanding of system processes and functionality.
  • Refine and establish procedures and processes relevant to position and better efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with IT department to execute and create long-term strategy
  • REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years professional systems experience, preferably in the restaurant industry
  • In-depth understanding of fast casual processes and operations, hospitality point of systems experience a big plus
  • Ability of adapt and learn new systems/applications quickly
  • Proven problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, ang critical thinking
  • Exceptional ethics, cultural awareness, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Past customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to remain productive at slower periods, multitask during fast-paced instances and handle ever-changing systems
  • EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science or combination of education and experience
  • Relevant IT or MIS certifications preferred
