JOB DESCRIPTION

As a key member of the Corporate IT team, and reporting to the VP, Enterprise Systems & Corporate IT, the Business Analyst will have the opportunity to work with business owners and stakeholders across UserZoom to evaluate, implement and maintain innovative business and technology solutions and manage critical, high-visibility projects. Specifically this role will be a key business partner to the Vice President of Finance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Scale current and implement new SaaS systems and features from conception through go live, and within prescribed budget and timelines.
  • Working with the functional owner, gather, analyze and document functional and design requirements to ensure they meet business needs.
  • Utilize business analyst and project management skills to develop project plans, including testing, documentation, training, and monitoring change control process.
  • Contribute relevant functional and process expertise, drive alignment across key stakeholders including the Finance organization and cross-functional partners.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance for key business applications.
  • Evaluate software requested by business owners. Identify and suggest new software and replacements for existing software. Assist in contract negotiations  as required.

    REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting is required. Additional concentration in Computer Science or related field a plus.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with a minimum of 4 years of NetSuite and other financial systems experience. 
  • 5+ years of business analyst, business process and project management experience including experience evaluating, implementing and maintaining business applications in a SaaS startup environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting concepts and finance systems.
  • Previous experience working with and supporting Finance teams.
  • Experience with Adaptive a big plus.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a high-growth, fast-paced and dynamic tech environment.
