Parker and Lynch is Currently conducting a search for a VP of Engineering for a conversational AI and digital care provider that helps people achieve their health goals through sustainable behavioral change.


Job Overview:

As VP of Engineering, you will work closely with the CTO, tech leads, data scientists, software developers and other internal partners to build scalable systems and AI-powered platforms while helping to manage and protect our member's health data.


As a hands-on technical leader who is not afraid to write code and contribute to our IP, you will help lead the technical direction and roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical, operations, and sales and marketing, and contribute to the product development lifecycle.

You will directly contribute to the product and AI capabilities, enabling it to scale and deliver solutions serving multiple health conditions and supporting diverse customer needs, while integrating with large healthcare ecosystems.

  • Can lead the day-to-day product initiatives as the product owner of an agile engineering (all remote) software development and testing team
  • Demonstrate an ability to own technical products that serve a large and distributed set of internal customers
  • Have a passion for and knowledge of high-quality software development practices for building scalable and highly available platforms
  • Can partner with product management teams to meet or exceed all committed Product and Platform timelines
  • Can plan and execute development items including, prioritization, resource planning/allocation, timeline and prioritization justification
  • Bring these to market through ownership of the product development process
  • Communicate progress to management including performance metrics
  • Lead, grow, and motivate engineering teams to execute with quality and efficiency
  • Manage the team capacity of 5-10 members
  • Ability to make data-driven business decisions
  • Ability to contribute with hands-on software development
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to AI or machine learning related product a plus

    You have a minimum of:

  • 12 years of software development team management experience - a mix of early and mature stage companies is a plus. Experience in digital health is a big plus
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent experience
