Parker + Lynch Legal team has been engaged on an exciting search for an Assistant General Counsel. The organization is fast-growing and dynamic leading consumer retail healthcare company headquartered in North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small legal team where there is a lot of opportunity for advancement and tons of interaction with the company's executive team.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience with healthcare regulatory matters including but not limited to Stark Law, HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statutes, etc. Further exposure to healthcare transactional work (including M&A) is preferred but not required. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts with affiliated practice owners, suppliers and customers, including:  professional services agreements, nondisclosure agreements, data processing agreements, business associate agreements, etc.
  • Drafting documents for and advising our in-house affiliations business unit with acquisitions.
  • Leveraging legal expertise and business expertise to provide practical business and legal advice to various business partners.
  • Managing outside counsel relationships.
  • Our client is motivated to move quickly for the right candidate. This position is newly created and due to company growth. Candidates must be willing to live in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, this is not a remote role.
