These individuals will be responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on reducers, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, pumps and production machines by following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer instructions and engineering specifications.

Essential Job Duties Include:

Locate source of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Remove defective parts by dismantling devices which will require use of hoists, cranes, hand and power tools.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and controls instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs and straight edges.
Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventative maintenance techniques
Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Working knowledge of Pneumatics.
Working knowledge of Hydraulics.
Essential Job Qualifications Include:

High School diploma
Mechanic/Electrical knowledge
Experience with cutting and conveyor equipment
Welding/Fabrication experience
Strong troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of pumping systems
Knowledge of electrical supplies and controls
Knowledge of power tools
Good organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Presents self in professional manner
PLC Troubleshooting experience
