Parker + Lynch is working with one of our fast-growing clients to find an Operations Supervisor in Boston. This hands on leadership role will focus on planning, coordinating, and managing daily operations for snow removal at the Boston airport. We are looking for someone who has expereince manging large teams and overseeing large equipment in a fast-paced environment. This company offers growth potential and competitive benefits. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements and monitors all aspects of the snow removal / sweeper operator program, including safety, recruitment, orientation, training, support and recognition of operators.
  • Assists with oversight of 40-50 pieces of equipment.
  • Provides job information for all snow removal / sweeping equipment and personnel dispatched.
  • Evaluates service delivery, assesses equipment, schedules for deficiencies and makes effective plans and recommendations to improve service delivery.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.
  • Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
  • Report all accidents/injuries following proper procedures.
  • Provides the work group clear and informative direction through timely feedback.
  • Enforces established safety guidelines; promotes a safe workplace.
  • Responds to external customer questions and resolve problems.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management and the Base Manager.

    Experience / Requirements:

  • 2 years snow removal experience
  • Management of equipment
  • Ability to obtain airport security badge
  • Valid driver’s license 
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite—Excel, PowerPoint & Word
  • Aviation experience a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    Physical Aspects/Work Environment

  • Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and talk, hear and see.
  • Long hours with regards to snow removal operations
  • Regularly/occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
