Do you have exemplary Human Resources Generalist experience? If so, I want to talk to you about a great opportunity. You will be working for a growing organization and providing support in employee relations, compensation administration, compliance, on-boarding, talent acquisition, and employee development. You will be participating in instrumental initiatives to help grow the business and drive success. You will be managing and implementing human resources policies and programs. You will execute HR initiatives, drive HR functional excellence, and provide HR process improvements. The job is in Albuquerque, NM. Our client is working remotely, this person would need to go into the office for a few hours, as needed. As our ideal candidate, you will have a minimum of three years of experience in human resources and have obtained your bachelor’s degree. You will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.

As a Human Resources (HR) Generalist your job duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Advise employees on HR related policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Provide employee relations support for employees.
  • Provide guidance on HR issues and escalate sensitive issues to the Office Manager/CFO.
  • Coach supervisors and managers on handling employee issues.
  • Ensure employee relations issues are identified, reported, investigated, and resolved.
  • Maintain and manage employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with recruitment: source candidates, pre-screen, scheduling of interviews, administer and evaluate applicant tests, perform background checks, conduct reference checks, preparation of offer letters, etc.
  • Maintain accurate job descriptions for all staff.
  • Manage and support external staffing agencies in assistance to meet hiring needs.
  • Maintain employee handbook.
  • Perform new hire orientation and onboarding of new hires.
  • Maintain HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Also maintain compliance and consistency to promote a positive company culture.
  • Maintain employee files and compile reports concerning data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, attendance, etc.
  • Conduct exit interviews.
  • Ad Hoc tasks as needed.
  • You are the perfect person if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.
  • PHR nice plus.
  • Three years of experience in human resources generalist functions.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office and have the ability to run HR reports.
  • Ability to be self-directed and motivated to execute with minimal direction.
  • Approachable mentality and encourage an open-door culture.
  • A customer service vision and a commitment to integrity and responsiveness.
  • A collaborative and team player mentality.
  • A strong interest in providing HR process improvements.
