Parker + Lynch  is partnering with a client on an exciting and newly created career opportunity as a Human Resources Generalist. Our client is located in Stockton, CA and they are seeking an ambitious professional who has a desire to grow in a defined fast-track career path.

The position reports directly to a C-Suite executive and will receive significant mentoring while taking on responsibilities for all human resources activities. Our ideal candidate is a fast and eager learner who is looking for rapid career growth in the field of HR Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll through ADP's Workforce Now platform
  • Perform all recruiting activities through the Recruiting module within ADP's Workforce Now platform including all initial contact with candidates through the applicant tracking system to ensure a smooth candidate experience
  • Conduct the Onboarding of all New Hire Employees
  • Oversee the performance review process throughout the company, including job documentation, job description, job evaluation systems
  • Recommend, develop, and schedule training and development courses.
  • Oversee and coordinate all human resource administrative procedures and documentation processes
  • Administer and explain Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, and 401(k) benefits to employees while serving as liaison between employees and insurance carriers
  • Maintain human resource database
  • Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries
  • Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements within the department
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Payroll, Benefits, Employee policies manual, and Performance Review processes
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using all modules in ADP Workforce Now
  • Excellent verbal/written communications and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
  • Analytical problem solving ability
  • Curious learne whos seeks out knowledge and information to expand and enhance their ability to be ready for what is next.
  • Collaborative partner who builds and leverage cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas, data, and insights to drive continuous improvement in functions.

  • Required Qualifications

  • AA degree required, BA preferred
  • Prior recruiting experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience in compensation & benefit practices, employment law, staff orientation, and staff recruitment preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar or related position preferred
  • Ability to provide leadership, accept responsibility, work independently, and set own goals in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously and able to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings
