HR Specialist

Parker & Lynch has partnered with a manufacturing facility in near Little Rock, AR to help in their search for their next HR Specialist. This position is a direct hire role in a growing company that provides great benefits, and opportunities to grow.


  • Manage payroll and payroll processing to ensure accuracy, including attendance tracking
  • Work on full lifecycle recruitment efforts including sourcing and pre-screening for hourly positions
  • Give support for HR, payroll, compensation, and benefits transactions, including first contact support on processes for HRIS system
  • Coach on the use of self-service to maintain accurate employee information in HRIS
  • Provide follow up communication to customers to ensure satisfaction, including documenting notes and applicable information as it relates to the request
  • Issue feedback on customer issues and the case management system so that management can address and improve the items
  • Process and enter accurate confidential employee information and changes in the HRIS
  • Organize employee benefit plans such as Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Wellness, and other programs
  • Support the integrity of employee records and Workday data
  • Support team members throughout the company in different departments
  • Identify, suggest, document, and implement ongoing process improvements
  • Work in collaboration with other team members to share ideas, ownership, and driving improvements and consistency of execution for HR processes
  • Participate in various trainings to improve policy and process knowledge
  • Collect information to understand and assess the clients' needs and situation
  • Position Qualifications

  • High school diploma, plus 2 years+ experience in HR-related field, required
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field, preferred
  • Spanish speaking skills (fluent)
  • Broad HR/Payroll/Benefits knowledge, as pertains to the company, providing customers with relevant information, policy explanation and navigation support
  • Experience with HRIS or ATS systems
