Overview:

As a Human Resource Generalist, you will be responsible for providing support to the owners and employees on people-related matters in the areas of benefits administration, employee relations and communication, payroll and other HR duties.  Our Generalist will have solid knowledge of the HR Generalist functions and a broad understanding of other HR specialties. The position will be actively involved in delivering and developing plans, programs, and services that support business needs, foster engagement, including the development of communication strategies for the design and delivery of these programs.  This organization is a St. Louis based family owned company that fosters honesty, integrity and a fun and engaging culture.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Benefits Administration including medical, dental and COBRA
  • Payroll administration and experience processing payroll
  • Retirement plan administration (401k administration)
  • Onboarding employees
  • Worker’s Compensation and worker’s compensation claims and audits
  • Various reports and helping out the owners
  •  

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred but not required
  • Payroll processing experience with a payroll software is preferred but not required
  • Two or more years of HR Generalist experience including some of the facets of HR
  • Knowledge and experience with Benefits administration, 401k plans, payroll, onboarding employees
  • Excellent communication skills and someone who enjoys working with others
  • Self-motivated, capable decision-maker with strong time management and organizational skills.
