Parker + Lynch is seeking an skilled Mortgage Loan Processor with 3-5 years of eperience in mortgage processing in Las Vegas, NV. The primary function of the Loan Processor is to ensure the timely and accurate packaging of all loans originated by our loan officers. Responsibilities include: Gather information and take each file from pre-approval to closing. Input proper loan information into the loan origination software. Responsible for ensuring that all loan documentation is complete, accurately verified and complies with company policy. Validate loan documents including; income, credit, appraisal, title insurance, etc. and prepare the application for submittal to underwriting. Review file documentation and make sure all items needed are requested. Order and coordinate loan documents. Meet crucial deadlines requested. Perform any additional duties/activities assigned by management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process FHA, VA, USDA and Conventional loans for assigned Loan Officer(s) within given time frames.
  • Obtain all required documentation, such as appraisal, title, escrow, verification of employment/income, asset verification, credit, insurance binders, etc.
  • Prompt issuance of condition letters or needs lists to loan offices and/or borrowers
  • Assist with daily problem-solving and trouble-shooting.
  • Maintain and apply up to date technical knowledge of software and changes within the industry and loan guidelines.
  • Adhere to all industry compliance requirements and regulations
  • Tracks receipt of order out items and follow up to ensure loan will close within allowed timeframes.
  • Assess income, credit and asset documents against guidelines to ensure feasible submissions to underwriting.
  • Submit files for loan closing documents within time frames.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Perform all actions in accordance with policies and procedures of the company.
  • Effectively use software specific for the position and Microsoft office products.
  • Specific Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities Required for Position:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Proven work experience of 3-5 years in mortgage processing.
  • Must pass in-house Mortgage test with 70% or better.
  • Good communication skills. Neat, clean, healthy work habits.
