Parker and Lynch is currently conducting a permanent placement search for a Manufacturing Engineer. Our client is looking for an experienced individual to join their well-established and stable company in Redmond, WA.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design new tools, fixtures and equipment for assembly, test and inspection.
  • Revise any existing product designs for overall improvement or extension.
  • Develop and document IQ, OQ, PQ and maintenance protocols for new equipment and fixtures.
  • Determine, create and conduct all assembler and technician training / certification requirements for the fixtures and equipment, operation and critical methods for the production processes.
  • Develop test equipment and methods for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic devices and systems.
  • Develop and maintain production assembly, test, and inspection procedures through product life cycle.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (additional education preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in medical device manufacturing (Micro-medical preferred).
  • Certified SolidWorks Associate
  • Ability to perform Gage R & R Analysis for equipment qualifications.
  • 3+ years experience in manufacturing industry that provided insight into small tools, equipment and techniques.
  • Mechanical specification using GD&T.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with training others within manufacturing.
