The ideal candidate is a will be obsessed with quality improvement, experienced and highly committed to creating world class automation for regression and feature testing, able to develop and drive a high-level test and automation strategy, as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy.


  • Very much a hands-on-role.
  • Lead a team of QA Engineers of multiple teams.
  • Work with business and development teams to understand product vision and requirements
  • Take part in hiring and developing a Team of engineers
  • Understand how all elements of the system software ecosystem work together and develop QA approaches that fit the overall strategy
  • Be responsible for development of test strategies and creation of appropriate test harnesses
  • Oversee the development and execution of test plans and monitoring and reporting on test execution
  • Works with the team’s QA engineers to discuss QA strategies throughout the development processes. Identifies systemic quality deficiencies.
  • Work with support teams to triage and understand customer issues.
  • Establish and maintain an overarching QA roadmap, with a goal of increasing efficiency and quality through tools, technology and strategic initiatives
  • Track ongoing project statuses and create weekly reports
  • Verify fixes are implemented correctly throughout the product cycle in both consumer and development environment
  • Report on metrics using data to guide action for your team
  • Identify risks, impact, probability, and plan mitigation
  • The ability to work beyond the assignment and provide continuous innovation to tools and processes
  • Direct internal testers and external vendors in daily and weekly tasks
  • Define test strategies, organize testing processes, improve test coverage through existing or new infrastructure, and perform exploratory testing
  • Work with Product Management and Engineering team to ensure Quality is applied throughout the software development process
  • Support Product and Engineering by creating, investigating, and managing defect reports so that issues can be prioritized accordingly and fixed in a timely manner
  • Provide the product owner/manager with the right information to allow them to make data driven decisions
  • Develop and continuously improve testing practices and strategies including functional, performance, regression and rollback testing scenarios, scripts or procedures
  • Develop and nurture strong cross functional partnerships; driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.


  • 7+ years of relevant testing experience, including knowledge of test methodologies, managing test plans, and managing test cases
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team, comprised of individuals at different experience levels
  • JavaScript Test Automation is a must.
  • Experience with any JS test automation frameworks (e.g., NodeJs /Cucumber/ WebdriverIO /Appium/Selenium/Cypress/Cucumber/Mocha/Protractor and willingness to learn new tools as necessary), WebdriverIO.
  • Experience in Manual and automation testing of Web services (Rest, GraphQL) using API testing tools such as Postman, GraphQL Playground or similar tools
  • Experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Well versed with concepts of Performance & Load Testing with JMeter and K6 is desirable.
  • Nice to have CI experience to enable automated test execution with CI/CD tools
  • Strong ability to debug code, analyzes failures, and trace defects to the root cause.
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing methodologies and practices
  • Demonstrated aptitude for triaging, troubleshooting, and thoroughly testing complex systems
  • Strong understanding of Agile workflow and development methodologies
