Job Title: Senior Training Specialist

Location: Berkley Heights, New Jersey

Full Time-Travel required


Develop and conduct training programs for new associates and support the overall associate onboarding process.  You will also develop and conduct continued training plans for existing associates.  You will also design and develop training courses for new product and service offerings.  Adult learning principles must be incorporated in all material and activity development. Classroom lecture and distance learning will be instructed to all participants.  Customized training must be provided to meet organizational requirements. Ensure training and supporting material for new products and features, as well as quarterly releases is made available to associates and oversee and manage support initiatives.  Conduct periodic soft skills and customer service- related courses, emphasizing on client experience

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Experience with delivery of employee job skills training

• Experience writing procedures and/ or documentation

• Knowledge in education analysis, job function analysis, task analysis, and audience analysis

• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize projects and tasks

• Computer proficient, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and SharePoint

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task

• Strong sense of urgency and accountability

• Must be able to work independently and perform under limited supervision

• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills

• Banking industry, content knowledge, and credit processing knowledge preferred

• Experience using instructional design methodology

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

• 4-7 years of experience in associate or client training

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills

• Experience writing procedures

• Experience using instructional design methodology

• Knowledge of e-learning software, SharePoint, and repository databases
